The AUSEKLIS symbol has been woven into this ribbon in grey, blue and bordo .  The AUSEKLIS pattern depicted as an eight point star represents light, knowledge and the awakening of a new day. The AUSEKLIS is considered a symbol of guidance and protection in Latvian folklore.
