Drawn in one continuos line, the Witches Knot is a symbol of feminine strength and protection.  In folklore, the knot was woven by a witch to 'bind' a spell or create a series of events.  The symbol was also carved into doorways to protect the home.  We at Nord Haus love the story, but also love the earrings just for themselves too!
 
Each piece is individually hand made in Latvia from Stirling Silver by Edgars, a talented silversmith.
