The Whistle Bird, each one unique and made by hand by Egils Puzulis - a latvian ceramic artisan. Most are approxiametly 7-8cm long, 3cm wide and about 5cm high. These birds are either white, dark brown, tan or light brown coloured.  These whistle birds are not glazed and have a natural finish.
The stonewareware clay piece is both decorative and usuable as a whistle.
The ceramic whistle bird produces a clear sound. These whistles tell the story of Latvian ceramic tradition - a craft that has been perfected over hundreds of years and is still thriving today.
 
In 2015 with Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union these special Latvian products were given out as Presidency souveniers.
 
All the whistle birds are unique and different - with their own personality. The bird sent out may differ to the photograph.
