The SEPTINDIENU Pendant is a handcrafted piece made from sterling silver, designed and produced in Latvia
The circular open centre pendant has a 15mm diameter, and is 3mm thick suspended from a 15mm in length solid silver bail which allows the pendant to move freely.
Stamped with many different folklore symbols, this pendant draws on centuries of Latvian cultural tradition. These symbols are believed to protect the wearer from negative energy and bring good fortune. Common motifs include the Māra Cross- symbol of Māra that repels misfortune and provides protection.
The back of the pendant is inscribed with a Latvian saying
“Dod, Dieviņi, otram dot, ne no otra mīļi lūgt”
This saying expresses a traditional value of dignity, generosity, and self-reliance.
